Breastfeeding is simply the best thing you can do for your baby to get him started in life! But what do you do when you have trouble producing enough breastmilk?

First, make sure that you are actually making enough milk and visit your doctor. After that, focus on things that you can do to increase your breastmilk supply. In this article, I’ll discuss yummy recipes for mommy that will help increase your breastmilk supply for breastfeeding success with your new baby!

Is Baby Getting Enough Breastmilk?

With my first baby, I was obsessed with the thought that she was not getting enough breastmilk. She was a super fussy baby and basically only wanted one thing out of life- my boobs. Being a fist time mom, I had no idea that she was not really hungry every time she wanted to breastfeed- she often only wanted comfort.

Fortunately, I had a wonderful home health nurse that slapped me out of my postpartum, new mom, my-new-baby-is-starving state of anxiety. She assured me that my baby was gaining weight beautifully, peeing, and pooping beautifully, and looked healthy overall.

Check out this article from La Leche League to find out if your baby is probably getting enough breast milk.
